Massage Therapy

Massage therapy improves functioning of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems and improves the rate at which the body recovers from injury and illness. We have therapists who specialize in several techniques:

  • Therapeutic Massage - Massage using long strokes, kneading, and friction to relieve pain, reduce stress, increase circulation, address feelings of depression, and aid general wellness. ½ Hour or 1 Hour
  • Deep Tissue Massage - Massage that uses patterns of strokes and deep finger pressure on parts of the body where muscles are tight or knotted.
  • Thai Yoga Massage - A flowing sequence of yoga bases stretches, incorporating rhythmic pressure along pressure points. The therapist uses her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches.
  • Hot Stone Massage - Stones of varying sizes and weights are settled into body contours in areas that tend to hold tension like the back, abdomen and face. Oiled stones are used in flowing strokes to relax the whole body.
  • Lymphatic Drainage Therapy - Therapeutic massage designed to stimulate lymphatic drainage, circulation, and eliminate toxins in the body.
  • CrainoSacral Therapy - A light to medium touch method to the head that treats a wide range of problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
  • Infant Massage - Gentle massage using light pressure and strokes to different parts of the body. Helps relieve physical discomforts such as gas, congestion, and colic. Massage is an important part of preparing the intestines and lungs for their new functions.
  • Massage for Cancer Patients - A lighter touch massage to help relax the body. A note from your Oncologist is needed.
